They also feature a beautiful fountain and is adjacent to Los Angeles City Hall,The Walt Disney Concert Hall,The Ahmanson Theatre and Dorothy Chandler Pavillion. During the holidays Grand Park is festival decorated and makes for great pictures and 'Grand!
Had the best experience here during this past Sunday at the park. Had no idea I would randomly see a friend on fb live having a blast. So I decided to take the 15 min walk, witch wound up changing my life sorta. The energy was beyond amazing, great people, staff was friendly, and mainly I got to shake my groove thang for over two hours straight
Love this park.. it makes you feel alive. The energy is amazing here. Plus my children love the splash pad , so do I .. definitely a place to visit when in LA or worth the drive as well. Plus a Starbucks in the park.. who can beat that. The events are amazing as well.
What a great and effective upgrade to downtown Los Angeles vibe especially right in the heart of Downtown Los Angles in the Civic Center area adjacent to major landmarks such as City Hall, Los Angeles Superior Court. Used as a gathering place or venue for community, concerts and large organized events. Added bonus include Sunday Sessions which are held once per month. Public transportation options are all within walking distances, which is highly recommended in order to avoid parking fiasco or cost. Features water Fountain Park that is really fun and convenient for those hot summer days in Los Angeles.
Grand Park is such a nice, clean place for free music events during summer time. I have been here particularly for Sunday Sessions. Conveniently located near a metro Red Line. You can enjoy a good picnic with friends. Dance to your heart's desire without being judged (come on, it's Los Angeles--everyone is semi-weird in his own way in this town!). Grand park is also pet-friendly. Just watch after them. Not everyone are pet-lovers.
This is a very nice place to walk around with friends only when there are no strikes around 🙂 The Grand Park is cool for real, with water fountain and some places to sit. Grab a coffee and just enjoy your time here.
